The role supports the finance function across the Group. Includes but is not limited to month-end procedures, debtors management, creditors management, and maintaining accounting records. Offers holistic support to the finance team.
Minimum Requirements
- Bcom Degree (Finance or Accounting).
- Post Graduate degree would be advantageous.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
- 5 + years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- 1 – 2 years of industry experience would be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Experience with different foreign currencies.
- Experience with Accounting Software.
- Reliable and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take initiative and create efficiencies.
General Duties & Responsibilities
- Execution of month-end procedures (Income Statement and Balance Sheet).
- Performing customer calculations and ensuring all invoices are raised.
- Debtors Management, including proactively managing the recovery of outstanding debts.
- Ensuring financial invoicing data is accurate and complete.
- Creditors Management, preparing reconciliations for payment runs.
- Capturing and reconciling Banks and Credit Cards.
- Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Raising month-end journals where necessary.
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register.
- Ensuring finance deadlines are met across the Group.
- Assisting Group Financial Manager and Financial Accountant with the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts.
- Point of contact to Customer Success Managers for any finance queries.
- Liaising with suppliers ensuring invoices and statements are aligned for payment.
- Ensuring company data is filed systematically.
- Assistance with annual financial audits across the group.
- Assistance with any ad hoc reporting.
- Assistance with any general financial queries.

- Maintain and manage positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely acquisition of information.
